Turf Tiger Hydraulic Pump The Scag Turf Tiger features dual Hydro-Gear BDP-16 hydraulic pumps. BDP-16A pumps feature a 60% larger displacement than the BDP10A pumps used by other "commercial" mowers on the market today. That means with every revolution of the pump, the BDP-16A moves 60% more fluid when compared to a 10cc pump. This extra hydraulic displacement means more productivity and more power to the drive wheels.

    Here are a few features of the BDP-16A hydraulic pump:
  • - Extra large input shaft and extra large input bearings
  • - Square o-rings
  • - Pressure relief valves built in
  • - Large rebuildable rotating group
  • - 16cc of fluid displacement per revolution
  • - 1250 PSI (86 bar) operating pressure (continuous)
  • - Provides solid hydraulic power even under heavy loads
  • - Auxiliary oil coolers are standard equipment on every Scag Turf Tiger
  • - Oil coolers and a large oil reservoir keep oil cool and add to system life.
Turf Tiger Hydraulic Pump Scag utilizes BDP-10A (10cc) pumps on smaller riders (Tiger Cub, Wildcat) and walk-behinds (SWZ, SWZU). BDP-21 (21cc) pumps are used on the Sabre Tooth Turf Tigers.
